If Tim Russert Was an Eight-Year-Old Girl

NaBloPoMo Day Twenty-One:
If Tim Russert Was an Eight-Year-Old Girl

Tim Russert 1950-2008
(his famous whiteboard is now in the Smithsonian Institute)

According to Cathy A. Malchiodi in Understanding Children's Drawings"Drawing has been undeniably recognized as one of the most important ways that children express themselves and has been repeatedly linked to the expression of personality and emotions. [C]hildren may use drawing to explore, to problem solve, or simply to give visual form to ideas and observations . . . and can be representative of many different aspects of the children who create them."

Well, seeing as how she has the Packers going pretty far, I'm guessing she is a smart chic! ;)

Kat: Her football chart was from January of this year. She was tracking the finals last season. (WTF?) So . . . we'll all have to see how those Packers do this year. ;-)

Do those tally marks for Palin represent how many turkeys were slaughtered during another whacko interview?

Just had to throw this one in here as it is slightly relevant.

def gcd(a, b):
   while a != 0:
      a, b = b%a, a
   return b

This is a little python code snippet for calculating the greatest common denominator (factor). It's never too early (or late) to learn some programming. Alice, created by CMU's late Randy Pausch, is a great way for kids to learn some programming concepts.

"ooooo-ooooo-oooo!!!!", said Super Woman while raising her hand emphatically from the front row of the classroom.

"It means she's a genius."

So there.
