I Sure Hope He Didn't Take it Personally

Tom: "Would you like to go out to dinner for Mother's Day?"

Me: "Not really. I think I'd fancy avoiding the crowds."

Tom: "Would you like me to do something special for you for dinner at home?"

Me: "Yes."

Tom: "What?"

Me: "Fly Adam in."

I keep inviting myself over but really, seriously, if he comes ... I'll be conveniently hungry.

Oh that does look delicious, and no need to fight for a table.

Sounds like the perfect plan to me! :)

Thanks a bunch for dropping by my blog to share some words of encouragement! I loved the anology to Kettle Corn, and actually think it was the perfect analogy.

Hope you enjoy you weekend, and Happy Mother's Day! :)

I don't plan on leaving the house on Mother's Day. I'm treating my own mother to lunch...on Monday.

Ummmm. Send Him my way when He's done. Hey Hubby should be relieved that HE wouldn't have to cook. Sounds like a great idea to me!
Blessings & Happy Mother's Day!

You'd have to fly Kristen in as well, since she made the sauce and assembled the whole thing. I made the dough, and did the parts that involved the oven (as Kris doesn't like hot stuff).

Next time we visit we'll make some pizzas.

Yep - I'd be flying Adam in too - and I don't even particularly like pizza.

Looks good. I will be cooking for MOther's Day as Jen's kids will be coming over- but wait- I am the step mom- shouldn't THEY be cooking. Oh wait- none of them knows how to cook. Guess it's me then. :(

That's it, we're grilling pizza today. I don't care that I'm the only one who knows how to make the crust.

Happy Mom's Day!
